Social Media Content Generation and Drones: Framing the View

So, it has really come as no surprise that the realm of social media and peer networking sites are rapidly being occupied with video content & footage reels.

In a speech given in January of 2019, YouTube’s Chief Business Officer Robert Kyncl projected that 90% of all internet traffic will be video-based by 2020, following analysis of expenditures on digital video advertising rising by 30% between the years of 2015 and 2016.

Another interesting figure to note is that 70% of Advertisers claim they will be boosting their social media video ad budgets in the next 12 months to accommodate these notable trends.

It is hard to argue against the fact that Drones are an efficient and sustainable way to make videographic content and enhance the quality of your vlogs. Furthermore, the use of drone technologies by YouTubers and social media influencers has become very commonplace, with content providers seamlessly incorporating drones into their media production toolkits.

People want to see content which is dynamic, and shot utilising different angles and perspective windows; so offering unique framings of video subjects.

As drones have become almost as popular as GoPro cameras, anybody with a drone, a laptop or PC, and a Social Media account can now record, edit and post beautiful aerial videos and photographs with ease.
